I was in Sri Lanka when I held my first exhibition in 2012. It was a beautiful country surrounded by the ocean, and coming from a landlocked country this was very inspiring to witness. My friend at the time, Louise, was my painting partner. She had started painting after many years, and supported me in having my very first exhibition. It was a blessed opportunity to do this together, and because of this, the theme of this exhibition was "Thanksgiving".
